An upright cultivar of a much-loved native grass species, this plant holds on to its stems without lodging even in rich soils. The blades of this grass lean towards the bluish end of the green and are tipped in red for some extra flare during the growing season. The main show for this plant occurs in the fall, when the reds expand and the entire plant takes on a maroon hue that holds late into the season.
